Teams FAQ

The questions coaches and team managers ask most often. The Rider FAQ covers questions about the analysis itself; this page is about team-specific behaviour.

How many riders can I have on a team?

There isn't a hard limit on team size. If you're running a large program — a club with dozens of athletes, a national team, a multi- coach setup — contact support so we can make sure the structure fits.

Can a rider be on more than one team?

Yes. Riders move between programs, switch coaches, and ride in multiple groups; the product reflects that.

Are private runs visible to my team?

No. Only runs uploaded into a team session are visible to the team. A rider's personal sessions stay private.

What happens to a rider's runs if they leave the team?

Runs uploaded into team sessions stay with the team. The team's history, leaderboards, and references don't break when a rider leaves.

Can I upload footage on behalf of a rider?

Yes — this is common. Tag the run with the athlete's name so it shows up under that rider rather than under your account. See Inviting riders for more on the athlete-vs-uploader distinction.

Can two coaches share access to the same team?

Yes. Both coaches join the team and have access to all the team's sessions and runs. If you need different permissions for different coaches (an assistant who can view but not upload, for example), contact support.

Should each track be its own session, or can I lump them together?

One track per session. A track session captures the geometry of one track via its reference run; if you mix two tracks in one session, the reference defines one of them and the other will align poorly. See Track session.

Can my team use a public-event leaderboard?

Public events are a separate workflow for race-day events open beyond a single team. If you want a public leaderboard for a race, see For Event Organizers. For internal team analysis, the team's own session leaderboard is what you want.

How do I switch the reference run for a team session?

Same as for a solo rider — change the reference, splits on other runs are re-predicted, the leaderboard recalculates. See Choosing a reference run. When you do this on a team session, the change is visible to everyone on the team immediately.
