Racecraft¶
Racecraft turns onboard action-camera footage into downhill race analysis. Upload a run, mark the splits that matter, and see exactly where you gained or lost time against a reference run — section by section, frame by frame.
What do you want to do?¶
Pick the path that matches how you'll use Racecraft. The core workflow is the same; the surrounding setup is different.
- Ride and analyze your own runs — solo riders reviewing their own footage. Start with the rider quickstart.
- Coach a team or review athletes — coaches and teams sharing runs across riders. Start with the team quickstart.
- Run a public event with a leaderboard — race organizers running a public event with a shared track and live leaderboard. Start with what is a public event.
What Racecraft does¶
- groups runs into a track session so attempts on the same track sit together
- lets you mark the splits that matter — start, finish, and key intermediates
- compares each run against a reference run, the canonical pass that defines the track
- shows the time delta continuously through the run, not just at split points
- ranks runs on a leaderboard so the fastest pass is obvious
If any of those terms are unfamiliar, the Concepts section defines each one in plain language.
New to Racecraft?¶
The fastest way to understand the product is to do a comparison. Pick the quickstart that matches your role above and follow it end to end — recording the footage takes longer than learning the app.
