Everyone who wants access
- Download Racecraft, sign up on your own device, and open the invite link to join. This includes riders, coaches, mechanics and anyone reviewing runs.
Riders
-
Open Cameras → Add camera and follow the pairing instructions for your GoPro, Insta360 or DJI.
Choose your camera brand and follow the pairing instructions.
Direct pairing supports GoPro HERO9 Black or newer, Insta360 GO Ultra and DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Other Insta360 and DJI models may work. You can also upload footage already saved on your phone.
Setup complete. Coaches and other viewers don’t need to pair a camera.
After your run (riders)¶
1. Record a full or partial run¶
Record the whole run or just the section you’re working on. The first reference run needs to cover every section you want to compare. Once the track’s splits are set, partial runs must cover at least two split points for analysis.
2. Open your team’s track¶
Open Community → Groups → your team → Tracks → 1199, or choose the name your team used when creating the track.
The track and its runs are only visible to members of your invite-only team.
3. Upload your run¶
Tap New run.
Choose Action Camera and select your recording. For footage already on your phone, choose Photo Gallery.
Under Video privacy, choose This group so coaches and teammates can review your footage. Choose Only me if you want only your own account to see the footage; teammates won’t be able to play or compare that video.
For the first reference run, choose This group. Its footage needs to be available to the team so everyone can match their splits against it.
Tap Next, complete Details, and tap Upload.
4. Wait for compression to complete¶
Keep Racecraft open while your run shows Compressing….
When compression finishes, put your phone away. Racecraft will upload and process the run in the background.
Analyze runs (non-riders)¶
Set up the track’s splits once¶
- Once the first reference run has processed, open it and tap Set up track.
- Set the start, finish, and the intermediate splits your team wants to use, then tap Save.
This run becomes the track’s reference. Its footage is shared with your team, and later runs use these splits. If the footage was uploaded as Only me, the uploader must confirm sharing it with the group when setting up the track.
Confirm splits¶
For later runs, you’ll be notified when predicted splits are ready.
-
Open the run marked Confirm splits.
-
Tap Confirm splits.
-
Match each split to the reference: Confirm prediction, or adjust with the frame buttons and tap Set here.
-
Tap Save changes.
Compare runs¶
-
Open your team’s 1199 track, then tap Compare.
-
Select a Run to analyze and a Reference run from the same team track, then tap Start Comparison.
-
Tap Section below the videos.
Section mode allows you to find time in specific parts of the track. -
